James Colman Gallery has moved
The centre of operations for the gallery is no longer in Hoxton, but just outside the city of Norwich. Working strictly by appointment only, visitors will be able to view works by all the gallery artists as well as a wide range of limited edition prints. The gallery will continue its presence on the international art fair circuit and continue to showcase its gallery artists through seasonal exhibitions at alternative venues in London.
2005 kicked off at the Bologna Art Fair and we will be on Stand D41 at the Frankfurt Art Fair from April 27th – May 2nd. If you wish to receive Vernissage tickets for the fair please call 0044(0)7957246 569 or 01508491840.
The gallery has also curated a five person show and contributed an essay to The Prague Biennale 2 catalogue entitled ‘It’s Cold Outside, Let Me In’ (click here for essay) with Damian and Delaine Le Bas, Wayne Lucas and Barbara Symmons. This runs from the end of may through to the end of September. Venice Biennale–goers, take note; Its only a short hop to Prague from Venice. A list of the important events and parties relating to the biennale will be listed on this site during May.
Autumn 2005. A Colin Self collage show with illustrated catalogue is on the cards. Venue yet to be confirmed.
